Although affected by the epidemic, the city's graphite industry still developed against the trend. Last year, the output value of 4.658 billion yuan was completed, with a year-on-year growth of 47.8%, driving the city's planned industrial added value up by 5.2 percentage points. The proportion of graphite added value increased from 4.4% in 2016 to 17.2% last year, making the graphite industry become the second largest industry in our city next to the coal-related industry.
The city is rich in graphite mineral resources, the proven ore volume of 1.731 billion tons, ranking first in the country. At present, there are 37 enterprises of mining, mineral processing and deep processing of graphite in the city, forming an annual production capacity of 6 million tons of ore mining, 500,000 tons of fine graphite powder production and 270,000 tons of deep processing products. In recent years, our city regards the graphite industry as an alternative industry for urban transformation and development, attaches great importance to the comprehensive development and utilization of graphite resources, and has successively implemented and promoted a number of major projects such as Guoxin Communication, Haida New Materials, and the integration of China Minmetals graphite industry. China Minmetals Group (Heilongjiang) Graphite Industry Co., LTD., Haida New Materials Technology Co., LTD., Luobitai East New Materials Technology Co., LTD., and a number of provincial 100 projects began construction last year, Minmetals Group mineral processing, spherical project tailings reservoir key project officially started on December 16, last year, Haida graphite new materials technology project realized trial production. Despite the lack of mobile phone orders, Heilongjiang Guoxin Communication Technology Information Industry Co., Ltd. saw a sharp increase in its output value last year, with a total output value of 2.5 billion yuan, up 105% year on year. Heilongjiang Huasheng Graphite Co., Ltd. has set up a graphene modified materials engineering technology research center to produce graphite products with high-tech content and high added value through technology research and development. So far, 13 patents have been successfully declared, including 1 PCT patent. The graphene lubricating oil produced has also become the first lubricating oil product certified by China Environmental Labeling Product.
At present, the city has developed into a large-scale production base of graphite new materials with a strong market voice in China, established an efficient and perfect work promotion mechanism, built two major graphite professional parks, and initially formed three industrial chains of new energy materials, graphene application materials and sealed heat dissipation materials.
